Hi,

Another update as promised.

Four weeks since the last letter and I have now received letter number 3 from RW.

How lucky am I,

they are able to offer a reduction to the outstanding balance and will even accept installments to pay the reduced sum instead of a one off payment.

Although it's a very kind offer, I think I'll wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Hi once again,

Just an update to this saga.

Three months after the last correspondence from RW and it seems that they too have been given the boot by Lloyds.

Now they have asked Wescot to collect on their behalf.

The letter from Lloyds, with Wescots PO Box address on the back of the envelope, asks me to contact Wescot Credit Services as soon as possible to arrange to pay back the outstanding balance.

We'll see how long it takes Wescot to contact me, because I wont be contacting them as soon as possible.

Thanks

you don't ever contact any DCA that quotes someone else as their 'client'........

Me once again with a quick update since Lloyds 'introduced' me to Wescots.

I've since had two letters from Wescots,

the second one has actually stretched to getting the red ink cartridge out and using it.

I particularly like the way they have stated they know I live here because they have done additional checks using publicly available information, according to Noddle there have been no checks made on my Credit File, so I don't know what they are referring to nor am I really bothered by it.

The next quote is better

"lf we do not hear from you we will continue to undertake activity including phone

calls, texting and lettering to recover this account on behalf of Lloyds Bank Plc."

Does that mean they are going to start a campaign of harassment, or just another scare tactic maybe :)

I've included letters 1 and 2 for others in the same situation.

Thanks

Hi,

Probably the last letter I'll get from Wescot as we are already at the "Significant Discount" stage.

So are there any more DCAs that Lloyds might ask to collect on their behalf or are they likely to just sell it off.

I'll obviously update when something fresh emerges.

Thanks.
