The DVLA are [removed]!

I bought a car,& taxed it for 6 months, but almost immediately decided I didn't like it so applied to get a tax refund and they are saying I'm not the registered keeper, because the dealer didn't send his part of the registration document back to DVLA... so where does this leave me...? I can't afford to throw £120 away... Is there a complaints procedure, please?

Go here first

https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/new-and-used-vehicles

The go here

https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax-refund

Complete the steps on the page for used vehicles

And as King Mentioned you can use the DD Guarantee but just be weary that you may get a letter from DVLA saying you ow tax.

Just play it right and you should be okay.

We could do with some help from you.

Hello TB.

I've edited your post to remove a potentially libelous remark, I'm afraid. Hopefully help with your problem will be along later.

It's only libellous when it's untrue!! I have proof that they have pocketed my money and won't give it back despite saying that I am not the registered owner.

It's covered by site rule 3.12, TB. I understand you're upset and I would be, but there is the reason I did the edit.

Hopefully the guys are helping you to find a way round this now.
