Thank you for your reply citizenB

I was asking for a simple letter to request for review of the case.

However I have already sent a letter out to CPS, just waiting for their reply now.

Hello, Just to update you on my case.

The accuse pleaded guilty in court and will be sentenced next month.

I also received four figure compensation for the injuries from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

My advice is if you have a case don't give up.

Hello everyone,

The offender has been sentenced in magistrates court for a assault also the council took the case to court and the family will be evicted from the council property.

What I'd like to know is it possible to ask the court for case documentation? like what the judge said on the day.

Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it.

Thank you citizenB i look forward hearing replies from site team.

I am not happy the way the police dealt with my case, i might take this further.

I must point out the council have evicted the family not just because of my case there were also many other anti-social behavior cases against the family.

I been to the court today to ask for a transcript of the court hearing. The lady said I need to write in and give reason for the request.

I will be writing to the court.

Hello everyone,

I had a letter from Legal Adviser from magistrates court.

I quote, "Dear Sir, Thank you for your letter dated ------- 2015. Unfortunately we are not a court of record and therefore are unable to provide a complete transcript of the case. I am sorry we are unable to assist you on this occasion. Yours Faithfully, -------- ----- Legal Adviser."

Are they saying they don't have any transcript of the court proceedings or they have some transcript?

I am still considering appealing for the lenience of the sentence.

I understand I have 21 days to appeal from the date of the sentencing.

My question is if I appeal what will happen to the sentence already passed, will that be suspended till the appeal is heard?

If anyone can help me regarding the appealing process, I'd be very grateful.

Thank you for reading this, I look forward seeing your replies.

If you are appealing to have a sentence reviewed you will need to provide the details for this reason. Without knowing the full background on the case it will be harder for you to get the advice you need.

The sentence already laid down will remain until or if an appeal is heard. Then if the appeal Court thinks otherwise then the decision to increase/decrease it will then take affect....

If I have been of any help, please click on my star and leave a note to let me know, thank you.

Thank you for your reply.

Can someone please help me to lodge an appeal, write a letter and where to send.

I feel the judge has been mislead when sentencing. The offender been evicted because of anti-social behavior I have proof of that,

Also lenience of the sentence because of my injuries, I am physically still affected from the assault.

Is this a good enough reason for appeal?

I appreciate any replies.
