Letter today from Canada Square Operations.

YOU CAN MAKE A NEW TYPE OF COMPLAINT ABOUT YOUR PPI

You complained to us previously about our sale of your PPI policy. We rejected your complaint because your policy was not mis-sold.

Following a Supreme Court decision and new rules and guidance from the Financial Conduct Authority, you can now make a new type of complaint to us about the sale of your PPI policy.

You could now receive some money back if we took a high level of commission on your PPI policy but did not tell you this when you bought it.

A high level of commission typically means it was over a half of what you paid for your policy. Generally we did not tell PPI customers about our commission at the point of sale, as we were not required to.

It is free and simple to complain yourself, and it only takes a few minutes.

1: Complete the enclosed form, providing as much detail as possible, and provide your full name, date of birth and contact details to help us verify your identity.

2: Return your completed form to us using the enclosed pre-paid envelope.

If you do not complain before the deadline on 29th August 2019, your complaint will not be considered.

I'll be sending the form back tomorrow :)

I've just realised this can't be for my wife's claim as it would have been sent to her, I must have put in a claim myself but can't find any thread about it.

Anyway I'll leave this here for now and update if I hear anything.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)
