Did anyone else catch this show last night?

Talk about being totally blatant about coming here just to get benefits & houses etc.

Actual quotes were "I'm gonna take benefits from England, yeah" "England is one country with much money" "I need maybe four zero thousand pounds (£40.000) for my family, & I think I can make in one year maybe two"

This man who stated this owns a small farm holding back in Romania. So he gets on the bus to come here, so he can claim as much as he stated so he can then take the money back to Romania to build his family a home!!!

This was in the first 4 mins of this show!! I'm furious at such a blatant use of our benefit system!!

Why are these people allowed to get away with this?? They have never paid into our country but are allowed to openly do these things?

It's no fu**in wonder our resources are stretched to the limit & the ill & vulnerable are targeted to the point they can't live!!

I'm truly disgusted by this show!

The show follows father-of-three Ion Lazar, 36, (pronounced Yon) and five fellow immigrants as they travel to the UK in January 2014, just days after work restrictions on Romanians were lifted.

 

He wants to make £40,000 from benefits to help him build a new house for his family, back in the rural Romanian gypsy village where he grew up. “I need maybe forty thousand from benefits…. four zero thousand pounds for my family and I think this money I can make in one years maybe two.”

 

Katarina Cisarova, 43, is a larger-than-life Slovakian Roma. She has eleven children and eleven grandchildren in and around an estate in Rotherham. “It’s very nice. Big family yeah, Slovakia people! We have a good life here. We have everything that we want here,” she says.

I did catch the last 10 minutes, and found it quite ironic that we are capping the benefits of the idigenous population and shifting them out to Birmingham whilst at the same time providing funds for those who are coming to this country to deliberately milk the system ?

I recorded it & I'm watching it now! It's truly shocking & extremely hard to watch without feeling sick & angry!

As these people are openly honest about why they come here to abuse our services.

Another family portrayed were stated as getting 10 x more here than they would get back in Romania!!

And another family has been here 7 years have 11 kids & 11 grandchildren all which (bar 1 child) are supported by the benefits system & they get over £24.000 & they have no intentions of going back. As the father actually states "England gives me house, give me Doctor, give me School & give me benefit. England good. Thank you so much England...Thank you very much"

Our Government surely has to do something about this or am I wrong??

And now the man who wanted £40.000 in benefits has made it to the UK (without his family) BUT this little fact won't bother him as he has all his families papers with him, so that he then can claim for every single member DESPITE the fact they are all back in Romania!!!

Oh don't forget the "free house, free water, free rent as I don't pay anything" he quotes!

WTF?? So he's claiming for all his family as though they are here with him & he will receive it as he's done this once before. He intends to stay here on his own (but claiming for his big family) for the next 2 years, maybe 30 years maybe 40 years, so he can get "his" £40.000 in benefits, so that he then build himself a bigger home back in Romania!!

I won't even touch the subject of the houses built back in Romania built using UK benefits as I'm lost for words & totally insensed at this blatant fraud of our benefits systems & NO ONE is doing anything about any off it!!

Bit of light relief in this hard to stomach viewing is the guy who does the running commentary over the whole show!

It is disgusting that these people should be allowed to claim a single penny for themselves or their extended families still in their home country.

Any benefits should be no more than the equivalent of that available in the home country if that is Nil is should be the same here.

It is being repeated on Channel 5 + 24 tonight at 9.00 pm (Freeview 55)

I don't think I could watch it again without throwing something at the TV!!

Nor me Brig as they are willfully & calculatingly to come to the UK to defraud as much as they possibly can from our Benefits systems!!

This includes all benefits such as HB, CA, IS, DLA, WTC, CTC & CT it is absolutely disgusting that they are systematically taking many many thousands out of the public purse so they can either take it back to Romania (where they build themselves houses etc) or they stay on here without putting a penny into the system yet they are living off it all for FREE using "our" money (so to speak)

They even have it so well set up that they get on a bus in Romania & then travel a day & half to get here & then meet up with the "man in charge" who organises everything from the Bus tickets to here, the house in the UK & he then sends them out to work for a day!! So they can then get a wage slip which then entitles them to an NI number & this leads to "open season" on our Benefit system!!

WTF IS GOING ON??

How is this even allowed??

The best part is you don't have to be even in the UK to claim for your dependants/family as the "paperwork" for them will do nicely!!!!

200 hundred thousand Romanians are here already & more catching the bus soon!!

So what can be done about this? Anyone know?

Oh and what about the bit were they openly declared there intention to "Steal", The whole thing is shocking. No wonder our benefit bill is so high and the vunerable people in our society are suffering because of it.

When the Government or any of their 'Think-tanks' talk about immigration benefiting the UK financially, for me the numbers don't stack up. Simply because most migrants send money back home. If those jobs were given to the 'host' unemployed, they would not be sending money home, but they would be spending the money in the UK.

A very rough calculation it could be as much as £10-12bn per year.

The basis of any benefits should be NI contributions in the 'host' country. At the moment they've put the 'Cart before the Horse'.

I agree with you as;

I do NOT see how in any shape or form how our Country benefits from these benefit frauding immigrants (as portrayed in the TV show) as it's NOT just the benefits they are getting. As when you add on Health care, Schooling/College, prescriptions etc etc, this is all extras on top of the benefits they are receiving whilst here, the cost has to increase ten fold & then some!!

It does NOT make any sense to me how they are given all the benefits they can claim, a house & everything else just for getting on a sodding bus that brings them from Romania!!

The whole TV show made my blood boil & at the end where one of the families filmed (whose benefits were over £430 a week!!) received back payments of Job Seekers for £500 & she says "I'm very happy, very nice" whilst laughing, YET she doesn't even bother to even look for work really made me mad!!!

As I've a good friend whose worked for over 25 years & is now on ESA & she got sanctioned & has been living on £28 a week since August last year, now as you know no one can live on this. Out of the £28 a week she's meant to pay £16 a week rent & bedroom tax & £6 a week council tax which would leave her on £6 a week to actually live on!!

Suffice to say she ended up in arrears & had the Council hounding her etc & they couldn't give a monkeys that she was in this mess!! So she went without food, electric etc all over the winter just to survive!!

And it's literally just been sorted out for her! Yet these Romanians are given everything on a damn plate in a matter of weeks!!
