Hi

I have just recived letter from TFL with PCN for the alleged contravention of being in s bus lane that is in KIDBROOKE PARK ROAD..

I was at 03:25 am

Im from glasgow and i have been there first time in my life..

Any chance to avoid paying the pcn? When i find out i am on a bus line i had no chance to change my line.. The road was empty.. I was the only car driving there..

I cant come back up there so i will use picture from google maps and from other forum member to show which bus line it was..

Unfortunately (unless we know of any which have succeeded) it seems pretty cut and dried to me. Adequate signage in place although it MUST be illuminated (which it appears to be). Also, your car actually seems to be actually turning into the bus lane to me.

Having said all of the above, i'm not quite sure what the point of this bus lane is!

I have been driving close to right line cos i came back from europe..(driving there on other side) and when i seen im to close to right side i came back to my line, and when i realised it is a bus line i cant change the line..

And i read before in other topic that:

"An advance sign to warn there is a bus line ahed and give you time to change lanes. This should be cited 30m in advance of the taper where the speed limit is 30mph..."

And

"A bus lane should be commenced a diagonal tapper in the form of a dashed line approximately 30m long to give drivers time to change lane"

I didnt seen any information there is a bus lane.. The first ive seen is in the same place where bus lane starts.. Ive checked google maps street viev and i cant see any information in advanced about bus lane

Yes, I would agree that if there is no advanced signage then that would be your reason to appeal.

But be aware there are possibly 3 separate stretches of bus lanes in Kidbrooke Rd so you need to be sure which one these appeal decisions apply to.
