Welcome to CAG speargun. All claims via MCOL are set for Northampton court at first as that is where they are based. It will be transfered to your local County Court. May I suggest that you spend some time reading the FAQ's on this site.

Also if you start your own thread and call it something like 'speargun v Yorkshire Bank and let everyone know how far you have got so far and then if you need any specific help people will know what advice to give ;) Have a good read through some of the current threads within the Yorkshire Bank forum too as you will pick up some great tips on how to proceed at each stage.

Good luck with your claim.

 WELL DONE ! Sajabu!, I take it that you got some kind of settlement letter / call from the bank the day before your court appearance , am I correct in this, I would have thought the day before the case was too late too stop procedures, but the YB seem to be able to do anything to delay finalising ;)

Only just noticed that on my settlement letter dated 4th June 2007 there is a telephone number for Clydesdale Legal Services :o Only ever had a fax number there before lol.

Telephone: 0141 242 3718

Not sure if it works as I don't need to try it anymore but I'm sure someone might like to try it at some point and see if it goes through to Ms Ross or one of her lovely associates.

It is true that Clydesdale bank store all their past records on microfiche. These are small plastic sheets the size of a smartphone that store photocopies of pages each the size of a fingernail. About 120 pages per sheet.

I had a copy of my original credit card agreement faxed over from the archival company at 8.44pm. So someone must have been working overtime.
