Health clubs have been forced to make it easier and cheaper for customers to cancel gym contracts.

Several have agreed to change the ‘unfair’ small print that can lock members into deals as long as two years – and make it difficult for them to quit without penalty fees.

Gym-goers now have ‘clearer and more flexible’ terms to ensure they have greater rights to cancel following an investigation by the Office of Fair Trading.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

all should be more 'fair' as exposed, otherwise they would risk falling foul of the OFT and/or the high court case mentioned. suppose though it could be up to them in consideration of the poss risks against.
