good result for the reds tonight. despite Rodgers aka David Brent re the 'envelopes' etc. top four? doubt it. Downing to go? Henderson? new manager?

Messi worth 200m? Goal line technology? Diving? RefCam.... etc?

Downing today provided his first 'assist' in 45 prem league appearances (and his only league goal), no wonder he has been told that he can leave. but then Brent says no reason for him to leave! sort it out Brent.

I am a Man City fan.

We could really do with goal line technology. I really don't understand why we don't have it.

:) hi, thanks for posting.

Platini hates the idea. i can see why, to an extent. once start with goal line then on to whether it was a throw in that led to the goal that shouldn't have been.

he says overall, there are not many goal line decisions. and prefers those numpties that stand by the goal line. they should have more of an input but they don't! they don't seem to do anything, even when it is clear cut. something though does need to be done.

thoughts on mancini? balotelli..

nevermind :) hopefully though one of the true fans and not one of those bandwagon barristers for eg that have suddenly decided to follow london football clubs! :)

Wenger has come in for serious stick lately, despite the win today. it does though seem as if he should go, and i think he will next year.

yes think you may be right Ford but who can succeed him? he has been a good manager, not taking stick etc and only spends when he has too, think Ian Wright could be good for them, but then what do I know? lol

Btw, I had a Ford once, a beaut she was, 1954 Ford Pop , 4.2 V8 used to show her, heard it before you saw it!

they could've been up there with the likes of celtic/rangers(not now) with the right leadership.

he has been good, no doubts. and gets a good price for his sales. but, should've spent when needed to, he had the money. look at Manure, spent the money on VanP and reaping the benefits. long shot, but maybe mourinho might be in, wenger to madrid.

ford pop? classic. i like the old mustang, you know the one.

fergie says VanPersie 'lucky to be alive' re ball kicked onto his head yesterday v swansea! don't think so, balls nowadays are as light as a feather like beach balls! more chance of 'dying' from an elbow, bad fall, or dangerous tackle for eg. typical fergie.

ditto. didn't even get a card afaik (therefore could be subject to post disciplinary?)

Yes, he may not get away with it, an SFA compliance officer could step in to act retrospectively as he did in issuing a 'notice of complaint' against a Celtic player, which resulted in a two match ban.
