I parked on a poorly visible line which was broken. I've seen cars parked here for years and never a warden. So i leave my car over night and get one fine later that night and one in the morning.

I have appealed it, here are the photos

This was there response:

"At certain times of year, road markings can become hidden by snow or leaves. however, it seems that the road markings were at least partly visible where you parked. in this type of situation, we expect drivers to be sure about the road markings when they park, or if they are unsure, to park elsewhere. take this approach so that marking controls continue to serve their purpose throughout the year."

Should I appeal it again?

Can you give the location please so we can take a look on street view. It may help but in the meantime I would say that you have cause for appeal.

Single yellow lines also need a timeplate showing the times when the restriction applies.

Local authorities are also responsible for making sure the lines conform to the legislation.

PUTTING IT IN WRITING & KEEPING COPIES IS A MUST FOR SUCCESS
