Quite out of the Blue Today, I have had a successful kill against Safeloans Ltd, these cockroaches started the heavy handed tack of court action for a long forgotten debt of 100 quid that quickly shot up to over 500 with their 'fees and charges' , once received from Northampton Bulk Court Centre, I asked for a transfer of undertaking, filed a defence, and waited, then a long faffing letter rattled thru the letterbox asking why i was disputing etc etc, evidently it got someone in Safeloans rather narked or should that be Sharkloans? They asked for court mediation, so i played along, dragging it out, went to mediation, pleaded poverty and offered a tenner a month (i'm going for a DRO soon anyway and mentioned this in the mediation telephone call with the court service) they said no, not good enough, offered 15.00 final offer ! Accepted then they went on some ramble about wanting proof I was going for a DRO, which I actually DO have, but i thought screw this, not having some low life loan sharks having access to my private info. Said they'd send something in the post, nothing came, last week got a text saying that I need to read an email sent to a now dead email address and that they were commencing enforcement action.

This morning, much to my pleasant surprise from my local county court, a standard 'general form of judgment or order' and Ordered That 'The Claim and any counterclaim is struck out' - now laugh unsafe loans, enforcement action eh? Not without winning at court and you just lost, you played the high and mighty card and I held all the aces. So this proves that the courts are now VERY wise to payday loan lenders and PDLs that sell their debts on to DCA as part of bad debt bundles. Nice to see a result, took time to get there, so hopefully these numptys will now go away and just to pour salt on an open wound a letters on its way informing of WOIRA and that no further communication will be entered into. Rubbing my hands with glee and its put a smile on my face now.
