This is my first post. I have sent off my DPA request for statements covering the last six years. I am encouraged by some of the stories on the forums and I hope Nationwide pay up quickly in my case. The advice and support is great and I hope I can contribute with a positive outcome

Got the standard letter from Chris Swales today saying there were no charges for the DPA request and statements were on the way

As far as time scales go it's hard to say they could pay at any stage but its more than likely that they will wait until you put a claim in with the courts, even then you may have to wait for a judgement.

Each stage takes around 2 weeks, but remember there is no rush, I know it's hard to wait sometimes but you will get your money in the end and the longer it takes the more interest you charge.

I sent my first letter back on the 20th Feb, and have just applied for judgement.

Got my statements back today with what now appears to be the standard Nationwide response to manual intervention . Now going to start going through 6 Years worth with a calculator

ps I've noticed that there is an instance of manual intervention in section 2 of the bundle ie the reply from Mr Christopher Swales in respose to the initial response and the letter from Gary Perkins outlining the instances of when manual intervention may have taken place. How come they can supply these examples but no others?
