Hi Folks,

Any idea of the average time it takes Hbos to send your statements out when requested ??

Reason I ask is we are going on holiday in 2 weeks time and would rather be around when they arrive , (dont want the postie to hurt his back carrying them  )

many thanks

I sent letter to HBOS on 15th June. Received letter one week later informing me the charge would be £5.00. Another week later someone phoned to say charge would be £5.00 - 30th June. When I came came from holiday on 12th August, no mail. Phoned them and one week later two years statements arrived. Wrote immediately requesting the reaminder. No response. Phoned ealy September and they arrived on 15th September. Then yesterday I had phone call from lady dealing with my letter asking if I had received the statements. I would like to think their inefficiency is just that but my conspiratorial mind hints at other.

Enjoy your holiday, I would be surprised if they have arrived when you get back.

A slightly more heartening story on HBOS. Sent the letter and cheque for the statements on the 30/08. Got a phone call on the 01/09 from the customer services department telling me my statements would be sent out free of charge within 5 working days. They had not arrived on the 8th when I left for holidays, but when I arrived home yestersday, all the statments in their entireity were on my doormat. I just about fell over in shock that none were missing!!
