Morning all

We have a loan with RBS and since August last year we have run into severe financial difficulties.

We have provided RBS everything they have asked for but they ignore it all and are still charging interest and charges to the account.

Is there anything we can do about the charges as at this rate we are getting nowhere.

So there not helping in any way although you have explained your circumstances?

On there website they've stated, 'We are here to support you if you are in financial difficulty to help you resolve your situation.'

See if theres anything on there that you haven't considered, before a written complaint to the CEO, maybe he might help.

They are trained not to think, helped by machines that can't think. So not a lot of thinking going on, but as soon as your letter lands on the CEO's desk they are forced to think. Don't let it get you down, it will get sorted.

Its taken us this long to get details from them to set up a SO.

They don't like Standing Orders, as they are not able to quietly increase the amount they take as in a Direct Debit!

Ah the corrupt rotten to the core banking industry biting the hand that feeds it again!

This needs to be raised in Parliament, not only did we bail them out to the tune of billions, but they gave all of our money away to those who could ill afford to pay it back, and now we see them acting with impunity again and feathering their own sordid nests with our money, while we all face massive financial cuts to services and our income.

Banks are right up there with DCA's & CRA's.. Drop an email to your local MP as well, have him bring your case up in the commons;

On the last letter from RBS, Louise Townsend said "Please note that interest and charges will continue to accrue on your account and cannot be suspended"

Well more fool her, accrue away, just reclaim them back. Get making those complaints, you MUST enter their own complaints procedure to get the 8 week clock running, when they don't satisfy your complaint you can refer it to the FOS, who I am in no doubt is getting extremely tired of all these complaints, they still have not learnt from their previous mistakes.

No, you don't 'wish' to complain, you "ARE" complaining.

Ignore miss Townsend, she won't do anything, if indeed she actually exists, just hit their complaints procedure straight off.
