It seems that the FOS is requiring claimants to sign full and final acceptance letters ieven though the sum being offered or the precise basis of the calculation is not identified.

We would strongly recommend that you DO NOT sign these letters.

We are receiving reports of people who very unsatisfied at the low level of repayment which is subsequently offered.

To require you to sign this kind of agreement is unfair and the FOS is acting unfairly by agreeing to be the channel for this kind of thing.

If you have signed an open-ended F&F letter, it may not be binding. If you have received a disapointingly small pay out on the basis of an opened ended F&F agreement, you may not be bound by the agreement. There is a real possiblity that these vague agreements are unenforceable. Come here and post your story.

If you asked to sign an F&F letter, DO NOT sign.

Come here for advice first.
