I have a flat which I rent out, which I bought in 2006. I've never lived in it and it has been rented since just after I bought it.

Last year I got a bill for 2006-7 for £140 outstanding council tax, which I didnt think was right as it was unfurnished until it was rented out, but the agent paid it.

Have just had another bill for £130 for the same period. Dont know how that can be possible!

Any advice? Anytime I have spoken to the they have been less than helpful!

write the council a letter asking to explain the bill as you have already just paid an additional backdate sum.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
