Who are they?

My brother has recently had correspondance from them for an unpaid parking ticket he knows nothing about!!!

They are threatenign baillifs

Are they just a typical debt collecting company who buy the debt off a company and use scaremongering bully boy tactics to threaten???

Any advice greatly received

:???:

PS, have also posted in Bailiffs section of forum too!!!

He's had two visits in as many days from the bailiffs whilst he's been out (they left their calling card)

Have told him never to let them in or open the door fully following advice from here.

Should I justr ignore or send a some of the letters I have seen in the forums?

Thanks

Were they actual bailiffs or just debt collectors pretending to be bailiffs? If the latter, then just tell them to go away or you will call the police. They are just private citizens with no special powers.

Just ignore, and do not contact the company or their tame goons again.

It is not a letter I have seen from Excel before, pm tomtubby she is a bailiff expert on this forum and send her a link to this thread.

regards

Please remember our troops, fighting and dying in our name. God protect them.

some caution is needed here this is not excel parking this is an actual Baliff company

this would appear an actual Council Parking ticket, you need to check if you actually got one from the Council, I you know nothing about it then you need to contact the court that issued the warrant etc urgently

I have asked for a message to be sent to tomtubby to come and have a look

NEVER FORGET

There seems to be some confusion here. This company is called "Excel Civil Enforcement", and appears to have no connection with the PPCs called Excel or Civil Enforcement. So they might be genuine certified Bailiffs.

Unfortunately i think this may be the real deal. :( This company are used for council PCNs across the Swansea/Neath area and are known well for stepping in after court. I would treat with caution. I am hoping I am proved wrong however...
