Saw the ads on the tube last night and couldn't believe it - and now Wonga have hit the headlines with an app to lend you cash. I wouldn't download this under ANY circumstances.

How irresponsible of them to creat this in the first place!

Surely the Ministry of Justice can have a finger in the pie here and block this app.. they seem to want to exercise their teeth.

I think it is disgusting that they even thought about this as a marketing opportunity!

I think we should retalliate with a Consumer Action Group app for each of the forums, anyojne up to write these, it could become a 'nice little earner' if a fee of £1 was charged per app, I would download the ones I use a lot, Debt Collection Forum, Payday Loan Forum etc....

Hi guys!

I just came across an article about the new Guidance that will be produced by OFT. I will post the link to the article but what confuses me is the outcome of the proposed changes! From what i read i think that NO ONE who has outstanding debt to any of these payday loans companies can not and Must not be forced to pay back unless they have written contract signed from both parties!

Pls, tell me what u think cos if this is true we might become richer 8-)

I wonder exactly the same thing. They mentioned the term "True copy" which by definition means a real written copy of a document. As fas as i know i have never signed paper contract with any of these payday loans companies so is it enforceable or not?? Would someone help me with more understanding of the legality of this issue? I would really appreciated as i am in a difficulty of paying all my outstanding loans and if there is a loophole i would be glad to use it!

this is one more link to the article as i saw that the previous link its not working:

Thanks!
