Hi all,

just an update on my first post 11/7/06

Sent first letter to

Sir Fred Godwin RBS Group PLC

Edinburgh

Recieved reply5/8/06 from

Gordon F Pell

Chief Executive

Retail Markets

Bishopsgate

london

EC2M 4RB

stating after a lot of Blurb that they will, as gesture of good will refund charges associated with the smaller excess on the bank account but any charges in the future will stand unless there has been an error.

I am claiming £449.00 + £26.95 interest total £475.96.

They have offered £200.00. If I wish to accept please sign the enclosed letter and return.

This is the bank's final response on this matter.

They have suggested I contact the Financial Ombudsman Service and provided contact information.

What is my next step is it court action and how do I start that?
