hi,

I faxed my DPA letter to my branch and went in and paid the £10 fee for the SAR the next day - which they gave me a dated and stamped receipt for. I understand that the deadline they have is 40 days (which is up on 31/07/06) and so far I have not heard anything. I called my old branch to check on progress and all they advised me was that a central team was dealing with it and they would get back to me within 40 days.. but so far they haven't!

I need to get these details as I have no old statements and this account is now closed.

Can anyone offer me any advice r.e. next steps?

Thanks!

wait until the 40 days are up and send one of the template letters re: DPA non compliance.

I got mine pretty close to the wire, but not as late as yours. Send them a reminder pdq.
