This Is my first foray on to this forum but i need help!

I have banked withRBOS for many years, and they have always phoned me if I an getting near my overdraft limit. Lat july our overfraft had cretpy up to £1500 and the bank were pushing for us to pay it off we took a loan out with them for to pay off hte overdratf ans to pay off afew other things. We kept an over draft of £500

Long story short, despite cutting back on everything our fanincial situation has not improved. In the last 10 days they have taken £240in charges including charges for stopping direct debits, , I m now much further in debt and I still have to find the money to pay the umpaid d/ds( the bank charges would have covered the stopped d/ds Can anyone help or offer me advice. Thankyou in advance

Hi,

I can imagine the stress of this is causing you sleepless nights.

My first thought would be to send RBOS a SAR but be aware that some banks will close your account.(don't know if yours will)

Before you do so it may be wise to open a new account with another bank not related to yours, get your direct debits moved and stop using your Rbos account.

The SAR will cost you £10 to get but it will show all the charges you have been forced to pay and you can start a claim to get them repaid.

If you need help in doing so, shout long and hard, someone will be along to help.
