Hello all,

I have been through all the Letter Stages but when it come to the Letter Before Action, RBS caved in and sent me a letter wanting to offer me £100 out of the £205 I am claiming and saying this will be the end of this matter..

I know I have read in few places here were they they say accept the offere and still proceed with your action for the BALANACE.

And also reject that this will be in full and final settlement of all cliams I may have in the future.

Can some one point me in the right direction with this or paste the relevant threads in reply. As I want to draft a good letter to RBS explaining to them that I can not be FOBBED off as easy as that.

Thanks

:o :o  :D :D

Simple, give them a call and say thanks very much for your offer of goodwill - however I shall still be looking to recover the FULL AMOUNT via the Small Claims court.

Stick to your deadline of Prelim Letter - 14days, then

LBA - 14 days, then

Court Action.

They'll soon get the message that you're not going to be fobbed off!

Good luck & keep us posted

Thans Jmo,

I had already sent them a letter stating what you had said, ie will accept the offer but will still proceed with legal action to recover the BALANCE. I gave them another 14 days to come to a compromise and then Money Claim time will be due.

Thanks once more.
