The bottom line is that YOU, the customer, are an inconvenience to the supplier. Every time they make a mistake, which you complain about, it eats into their profits. You are therefore seen as a drain on their resources, rather than the source of their profits. Apathy is the friend of the energy supplier, it makes them a lot of money.

I was just obeying orders.
