I've sent a letter requesting all my account information since my account was opened. I won't know how much the bank owes me untill they send me the figures, which could take upto 40 days.

Should I send the bank a letter in the mean time informing them that I require a complete refund of all their charges taken from my account?

Thanks.

I know the FAQ’s say to wait and incur the extra interest but do you think it might get things moving along a bit quicker if I inform them of the actions I’m going to take now. Maybe we can exchange a few of the preliminary letters now while I’m still waiting for my account information.

Do you think this approach might be a bit unprofessional though?

Go ahead. See what happens.

At least it demonstrates that you have tried to reach out to them
