I am currently renegotiating my employment for next year.

 

I work in a seasonal job at a large theme park from May/June to Sept/Nov.

 

 

at the end of this last season I was not happy with the holiday pay that I received as I was paid x amount of days worked out at the number of hours that I was working at that time ie 5.5 hrs per day .

 

 

I feel that I that I should have been paid more as this was not a true representation of the hour that I worked, therefore I am wondering if there is some way that I can work out how much pay is due for every hour worked.

 

 

Also new this year if I work on bank holidays, the law states that I must be paid an enhanced rate (overtime) or granted a day off. (this will prob be the case and added to holidays at end of season) again this gives me the same problem, bank holidays I will work 12/14 hours but at end of season will get 1 days pay ie 5/6 hours thereby losing 6 or 7 hours pay.

 

As I asked earlier is there some way that I can work out hourly entitlement of holiday pay

 

normal jobs with 35/40 week I believe entitlement is 1 1/3 days per month.

etra hours worked are paid at enhanced rate thus any extra hols can be included in this, in my case I am paid a flat rate regrdless of hours worked whic can be in excess of 60 per week during school holidays

Halifax 2 N1 submitted 20/07/07 stayed 24/08/07 N244 Application filed 31/08/07 hearing set for 12/11/07 rescheduled for 29/01/2008. Application dismissed stay still in place.

Charity Group £200 compo for lost passport.

HM revenue & Customs; demand for WTC overpayment £632.12. Disputed, their error. Did not have to repay.
