Well, on to claim number 2!!

 

Prelim letter hand delivered to Branch Manager 20/06/2006 for £609.00.

 

Keep ya posted, and if anyone needs help/reassurance with RBS claims, just let me know :)

Lloyds Current A/C DPA sent 7th May 2009 Closed and charges wiped Summer 2010.

 

Barclays A/C DPA sent 4th June 2009: no reply, no correspondence as of 2011.

 

Littlewoods Data Protection Act Section 10 sent 09/06/2006 - Fraudulent A/C closed and CRA data removed November 2006.

 

HSBC Default & Debt wiped March 2009 (6 yr Statute barred reached)

 

RBS - Claim 1 - Settled in FULL £766.00 20/06/2006.

RBS - Claim 2 - Settled in FULL £777.95 08/09/2006

 

 

BOS A/C No. 1 & 2

Amount - £586.39 claim plus 8% interest

SETTLED IN FULL 08/09/2006 - CHEQUE FOR £625.25

Well, not so much as a fobb off letter to prelim or LBA, so it's off I go to Sheriff Court to file summons for £730.00 + 8% interest :)

Barclays A/C DPA sent 4th June 2009: no reply, no correspondence as of 2011.

Dear Sirs

 

I am writing in relation to the quantity and frequency of telephone calls that I have received from your company, which I deem to be personally harassing.

 

I have verbally requested that these stop, but I am still receiving calls. (Delete if necessary)

 

I now require all further correspondence from your company to be made in writing only.

 

I am of the view that your continued harassment of me by telephone puts you in breach of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

 

If you continue to harass me by telephone, you will also be in breach of the Wireless Telegraphy Act (1949) and I will report you to both Trading Standards and The Office of Fair Trading, meaning that you will be liable to a substantial fine.

 

Be advised that any further telephone calls from your company will be recorded. (**Even if you don‘t yet have recording equipment!!**)

Well, claim 2 and the final one with RBS sorted!! ;)

 

Here's the letter I received...

 

 

'Dear Sazz,

 

As you're aware, the Bank considers that it's charges are fair, transparent... BLAH BLAH, Mumble jumble, you get the drift...

 

However, I will arrange for the sum of £777.95 to be credited to your account in the next day or so.

 

If you do this again we will close your account.

 

Yours Sincerely

 

Solicitor.'

 

Well I can't get another student account, so the fact they threaten to take away my facilities will be met with a nasty counter-claim for benefits they didn't let me have access to ;)

 

Donation on it's way once I put some into my Paypal account, or can I send a PO?

I can't open another account in general due to my credit file. I applied for a student account with LLoyds as they are the only bank I haven't had an account with before.

 

I was turned down due to adverse credit stuff on my file, to which I freely admit, but they offered me a cash account, which I took.

 

I was told by Lloyds tho to re-apply for the student account in 5 months :)

 

Plus the individual banks T& C's, not LAW might I add, stipulate you only having 1 student account. This is becasue they give you the student overdraft with a view to your student loan clearing it every 4 months...
