I got a letter this morning from the court titled 'Notice of Transfer of Proceeding'. Can anyone adivse me what to do next. I am concerned that they are not going to pay me.
  3. My friend filed a claim on line against royal bank of scotland on 10th Jan. Solicitors for RBS are taking him to court on 8 June. This morning he received a letter from the solicitors with a cheque for £1100 which is less than half of what he was claiming. would his payment not have come direct from RBS and straight into his bank account. He is concerned that the solicitor has had full amount from RBS but is only forwarding him half. Has anyone heard of this happening before?
  4. so have you heard of this happening before?
  5. Can anyone help me. A friend of mine has put a claim in to Royal Bank of Scotland along with his wife. His wife has had her charges refunded in full without having to do an online claim. But her husband has done the online money claim quite a while back, and has had to pay a further £100. He has just received a letter saying that Royal Bank of Scotland are taking HIM to court on 8th June to defend his claim. Do you think it will actually go to court? Have you heard of this happening before?

  8. when you done your claim for your bank charges, did you do a money on line claim? If you did, did you get the court costs back. My brother done money on line claim, Nat west wrote to him to offer him all his charges, but no interest or court costs. He rang them and they said the don't have to pay interest of court costs. Can you advise me:evil:
  9. Can anyone help. A friend of mine is with Royal Bank of Scotland, is claiming bank charges and has done money on line claim. He received notification fron Nottingham to say papers have been served. He has this morning received a bundle of letters/paperwork from solicitors for Royal Bank of Scotland, saying they will appear in Liverpool County cour to defend the claim. He then received a letter saying that the case has been transferred to Liverpool County Court. Has anyone heard of this before and do you think it will actually go to court.
  10. does any one know if Royal bank of scotland refuse to pay interest but will pay the charges back?
  11. I have just beenonline to calculate charges and interest on the online calculator and where you have to put todays date in it is only going up to 2006 not 2007, so I have had to work interest out up to the end of December and not to todays date. Any ideas
  12. if they have said they are paying you the full amount back, why would you need to go online, you only do money on line claim if they are refusing to give you your money back or make you an offer that you don't want to accept.
  13. If you can hang on then do, don't accept it and go online and do the money online claim, you will get every penny back plus court costs and it doesn't take that long.
  14. Accept then try and get other charge back.
