  1. ok , transfered to edf 15/5/06 (although notified edf in dec 05 for both) gas was transefed 1/01/06 , electricity didnt come over till 15/5/06 yes 5 months, in between that time the gas meter was changed by BG so the 200gbp is the amount from the old meter + 1500 units for the new till edf took over, EDF were still sending estimated bill with old meter readings , even though i was self reading on line, we are now aug 08 and it seems that i do prob owe the money , so my main question was if i come to a settlement with BG will it affect my credit score? thank you
  2. hi all just to clarify a point, i have just recieved a britsh gas bill which is 200 pounds that i apparently owe , but due to my new supplier EDF, this is amount seems to be unpaid , now BG are willing to accept 170 gbp as full an final settlement , i was just checking if it does turn out that i owe it will there be anything that willl go on my credit file , they say nothing will ?, it is with BG collections , thankyou
  3. Hello any ideas on this , i had a default on my credit report , and it was with a Credit Card ,was about to CCA and get the ball rolling ,,,but just checked today and the entry is missing, rang Experian they do not know why ,its gone any thoughts ??
  4. ok thks for the replies, iam not on benefits. so putting that to one side,i will write to the revenue officer and try good old reasoning with him to see if instead of paying the 1st of every month it can be the 15th , thanks again. keep you posted
  5. hello can anyone advise on a very obstructive Council. I paid my council tax in the middle of last month (april) and made another payment this month (15th may) received a reminder by post today , but explained to the cashier that the cash would not be to there until the same date in june as im unemployed and trying to get the money together . i was then told as i am always 2 weeks late with the payments i am due to pay the full amount next month £1300!! what can i do , as i see i have not missed any payments and the payment plan is over 10 months anyway , i have paid 2 x months @ £150 when they only wanted £ 2 x £142,
  6. Hello thanks to this site i have managed to get the ball rolling with RBS on my current account , charges amounted to £4500 but i have claimed contractual interest which moves it to 9000k .and the account was defaulted at 7k mark. Recieved an offer today in response to my LBA from Sandys team offering £4400 but no mention of the removal of default (i think its a generic letter) I cant see the wood from the trees at this point, now do i send a partial acceptance letter and mention the removal of default again ,? or reject fully and continue with filing my N1 down at court to face Corbetts, Ideally i would like to meet somewhere in the middle ground ?? any thoughts on this ?
  7. thanks for the quick reply appeal has to be in by 9.00am this morning , missing some days with easter , to be within 14 days , so i have just highlighted the date and question marked it and wrote a nice letter , fingers crossed, i have checked the ticket and both date of issue and contravention date the same , im trying to scan in now
  8. hello received a PCN but the date is written as 27/3/7 shouldn't it be written as 27/03/2007 or am i being picky , i had a valid ticket but placed behind tax disk so warden says couldn't see it my word against theirs any thoughts?
  9. hello can anyone help me please , iam looking for any templates for DCA to reduce payments down and a financial budget plan to prove this as i have been made redundant ??? any pointers thankyou
  10. Hello my question relates to my Basic Bank account that does not have an overdraft facility. A direct debit was due on a monday but a previous DD had not come out and then appeared on the friday late so my account was overdrawn . I spotted this monday morning and paid £15 pound in cash at a branch at 12.10pm and asked if there would be any problems on my account with regarding the DD going out and was told no, checked the next day and told the DD had been bounced ??? is it correct i thought DD hung about till at least 2.30pm ??? any ideas from bank staff oh also got a late payment strike on my experian report nice ,what makes me laugh the DD was taken on the very next day by orange
  11. thank you for the link T4ff , as i said nowhere on any statement does it say royalties, as on my other accounts,i i did ring rbs and they could not explain the charge ie royalties except to say " it was a current account and we charged you for going overdrawn" , so im going to claim it which is £4000 without contractual interest
  12. ok will do , but my other accounts do say royalties on left hand corner the chg ranges from £15.00 -£28.00 in dec 06 , and as i was always overdrawn at some point in the month it was always added.
  13. sorry posted twice , computer playing up
  14. hello just to clarify( i have finally recieved my statements on my three RBS accounts ) the account where i have been charged the most is "interest paying current account" it does not state royalties anywhere right upto oct 06. i had a CHG a/c every month of £15.00 -£28.00, is amount claimable as i was always overdrawn ? any help appreciated.
  15. hello can anyone shed any light on this please. i had an rbs "interest paying current account" thats what is written on all statements from 2000-2006 and im being charged £15.00 every month,as im been overdrawn on most months. Is this a royalties account so i can claim £10.00 charges? ie (£15.00-£5.00) Any ideas??
