I called my bank to try and stop the £300 but they cant! I had a credit card for a limit of around £1200, but i got in to difficulties, and could not keep up with payments, after time the charges mounted up and it has worked its way up to around £18000 (inc charges from CSL). I cant find the letter, will hoke it out, but CSL are saying they have negogiated a reduced offer, i thought, if i get £600 off friends and family etc, it would save me tke £1800. Is this offer a con? how can they say its reduced, but still want the whole lot?

I have been getting letters from CSL ltd about a debt of £1800 on a Barclays card, but i just ignored them. They then sent me a letter saying they were happy to make me a reduced offer of £600 on the debt, i called them and paid £300 and im supposed to pay another 300 in 1 month. It has just dawned on me this might just be a ploy to get £600 off me, and then i will still be in debt by £1200,. Or will the debt be wrote off?

Im and due over £2000, but I issued a Summary Cause which is not allowed to be over £1500, so im ready to cliam the rest now. Im gonna try the summary clause, for up to £1500, it cost £49. You should try this way, hopewfully the will see ehat is happening and settle before then going on for the £750 through the small claims..

Hi, should i go for seperate claims of £750 each through the small claims, or 1 claim of £1,500 through the summary clause, anda small claims for £750???
