  1. Cheers and yes I am claiming interest as the spreadsheets calculate. In my decree, that is the 'minute' you submit, after RBOS failed to respond to my summons, I had noted all the interest and expenses but when I filed it at the sheriff court I was told not to worry, the sheriff court would calculate everything owed. I will keep you informed.
  2. Good luck to you and just follow the system. The spread sheets are all excellent and the steps detail are easy to follow.
  3. I used my local branch and quoted the managers name. It set the ball rolling no problems. Good luck and hold your nerve.
  4. RBS got a bit stupid with me when I asked for statements. They initially sent me a whole load of docs incl glossary of terms, copies of all my details ie driving license, initial application form etc . I phoned them and told them they had gone wrong. Still took another couple of weeks to get correct paperwork. I think they have set up a dept of cheeky tricks. Thanks for that website. I'll have a look around and keep you informed.
  5. Hi I'm trying again on two points. Have sent all the letters and recvd all the 'get losts' so the sheriff court is my next step. My total charges are approx £2500 so will the sheriff court accept 4 small action claims at the same time or do I need to wait while each is settled in turn. Do you need an actual managers name on the summons or does it suffice to put the action against RBS with a branch address. I cannot wait to log these. Just a small point. I have split the spreadsheet (Calc of penalty charges and interest charges unlawfully deducted) into four time periods to stay within the £750 limit. The end column (interest on penalties) seems to go amiss. I have manually adjusted. Thanks
  6. Hi its me again. I think I will probably go down the multiple claim route as the max small claim in bonnie Scotland is £750. Can I ask for advice on 2 items. 1. When I complete the small claims summons form do I require to quote the bank managers actual name with the bank address. 2. If anyone has experience of filing multiple claims, I will probably require 4, did the claims all go in at the one time, with separate payments, or do you require to wait until each is settled in turn. These do seem easy ?s but I want to get it correct. Thanks all Fernpest:-|
  7. Thanks for replies and advice. Would I not also require a mailing address, for myself, in England.
  8. Hi All Looking for some help. I live in Scotland and have gone thru' stages upto and incl letter saying I will take court action against RBS for approx £2500. Recvd 2 letters from RBS saying charges are fair and to go talk to Ombudsman. Have been to Sheriff court to take small claims action but claim too large. I said I would do it in stages but was told this is a no go. Any help from here would be appreciated. Are RBS being more difficult than other banks. Not for long I hope
