no calender days. the court could hace a backlog in their post you can still ask for judgement try to give them a ring they will prob offer you a settlement via the phone.

my n1 was actually handed into court on the 26th feb only deemed served on the 9th march. yes you could try to ring inga although i tried a differednt number today that was on the top of the defence letter they sent and spoke to a very charmiong man. he said that if i hung on them i would probably get the whole amount plus interest but as i knew there was such a big backlog of claims he said i coyuld be waiting for upto 8months. try 02077564306. if this helps click on the scales. and good luck

the original claim was for 2,722. the 3.2k was with 8%int and at least i don't have to wait for ages.request going in for new charges as soon as this one is paid.

had a phone call from rbos today she has the statements from march 01 to april 02( when the account was closed). low and behold there are 1660 in charges the statements start from no 48 so there are 47 other statments somwhere. would an sar get them for me.

copy of defense received from abbey this morning. rang them to see if they would include charges taken from account last friday and was told no i would have to start a seperate claim for them. but would i consider a settlement over the phone for 2k my reply was no cauz my claim is fro 2,722. but would consider 2.5k he said okay. will not stop court procedings until money in the bank. me thinks me won.

rang them back and the reply was that they acknowledged the claim on the 9th march and will be entering their defence tommorrow. she said they will be offering me a settlement figure very shortly by post. so i just have to wait and see. rang court they say they still havent received anything but as said earlier they are a week behind with their post. will be requesting for judgement tommorrow.

rang abbey again this morning to inform them that as no response from them that i am going upto the court to file for judgment. after being told several times already that their legal dept don't have a direct phone number. guess what they have and it is on my records apparently that the legal dept want to speak to me and here is the magic number. 02077564332. don't know what they want yet as their computers are down. will keep you all updated.

whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee rang capital one this morning to advise them that as no response from them that i would file for judgement today and she said no need. dispute is closed and full payment including interest has been paid back into the account. okay so no money for me but one less debt.account balance stands at zero and told them to close the account and that i want it in writing before i inform the court. thanx for all your support on this site.

same letter as i got. dont bother waiting as previous said his final offer is that. go to court. the sooner you do the quicker you will see your money ps i never mentioned removal of a default either but got the same response as you.

totally different account. i had current account with rbos and a loan with them. claimed back charges from current account, didn't effect my loan with them even though it was in arrears with them at the time.

rang rbos today to see what info they had on this old account. branch could't tell me any thing as she said acc was closed asnd she couldn't say when. then said she would put a request in for statements to see what would come back and that i would have to pick them up from the branch with id as moved house since that acc was being operated. rang customer support and she told me the same. also told me that they wouldn't request statement for more that 6 years as this was the max amount that i could claim for. advise please

just reread notice of issue from the court. claim issued on the 1st march 07 sent by first class post on the 7th march 07 deemed served on the 9th march 07 the defendant has until the 23rd march 07 to reply. mad nick the case got passed onto the legal dept of abbey on the 13th march. i rang on the 15th march. so it was too late. butr saying that on the 24th feb i had charges added to the acciount and also asked for these back. was told no again then, because they have reversed charges twice already in the last 12 months.
