  1. I attended the tribunal today and lost the case. Even though an LGV had undertaken an illegal U turn ahead of me, causing me to stop momentarily in the yellow box junction is evidently not an excuse, even with dash-cam evidence. Evidently as I driver we are supposed to anticipate, buses pulling out or people changing lanes. The excuse that it is not an offence to stop within a YBJ if you entered it and the way ahead was clear is not acceptable, neither is the fact that if the YBJ does not reach the kerb then it is not a legal YBJ. What I also find annoying is that the clock regarding the fine does not stop if you appeal. Therefore if you appeal, and the appeal finds against you (As they always will it seems) then you get stung for the full amount. Is there actually any point in appealing at the end of the day?
  2. The traffic was flwing normally but an LGV coming from the opposie direction made a forced right turn that held up the traffic.
  3. I have received a PCN for waiting within a box junction. The box junction was not serving a road junction, but covering the frontage of a fire station. My vehicle was only partially within the junction. The waiting was caused by a LGV performing a forced right turn ahead of me. Do I have grounds for an appeal?
