  1. Ive been paying manually over the Internet . April’s payment went to Reston’s and Drydens from May. I don’t want to set up a card payment with them or a direct debit as I am in control this way
  2. I don’t know what the original debt was but it resulted in a CCJ and I agreed a lesser payment than the court order ordered with Reston’s
  3. Hi, i need some advise. I had two debts with arrow global which was being managed by Reston’s Solicitors and a payment plan for each was set up with Reston’s which I had been keeping up with. Suddenly Arrow Global wrote to me and said that Reston’s was no longer instructed to look after the account and it had been transferred to Drydens Fairfax. seemed to be all okay, and the same payment plan was listed on Drydens website and I paid the next instalment to them in May before it was due and the same for June’s payment. Drydens website shows both payments made on both accounts and my bank account had the funds deducted. today I get two letters (one for each account) saying our records show I have failed to make a payment to us directly or contact us to discuss the matter. strange considering no payments were missed and their website even states next payment due in July! it says if I don’t respond by the 19th July they have no alternative but to commence further action! even more interesting is the balance owed is correct - it’s the balance after both May and June’s payment have been deducted. for the record April and earlier payments all went to Reston’s. how do I respond to this? i have an up to date payment plan and they are threatening me with further action with isn’t fair
  4. The email I got says this As a result of not being able to reach a satisfactory agreement with regards to your outstanding balance, we have now transferred your account to the following external Debt Collection Agency: ARC (Europe) Limited Telephone: 01932 251000 Address: ARC (Europe) Ltd, Kent House, Churchfield Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. KT1 The Debt Collection Agency above will be administering and collecting payment of your outstanding balance on our behalf and will be in contact with you shortly. In the first instance please contact the Debt Collection Agency regarding your account. A summary of your borrowing is available online in your 247Moneybox.com account. I sent 247 the claim letter on 3rd January
  5. I wrote a letter following the guidance given in the reclaim guide to 247. But it seems just like my previous correspondence with them using texts they have ignored it and sent me an email saying they’ve now sold the debt to ARC Europe. do I have to send them a letter as well?
  6. Hi, a few months back I took out a payday loan with 24/7 moneybox and I wasn’t able to pay it back on the due date. Not surprisingly as soon as payment didn’t go through on the due date they were emailing, leaving automated messages and sending texts. I kind of put my head in the sand until a friend of mine said you need to deal with it but I didn’t want to call them up and be bullied to paying back what I can’t afford. then suddenly I got this textmessage from them offering me a discount of 75 percent so I replied back to the text message they sent if I wanted to take advantage of this limited time offer and it was ignored. I got more texts none offering me a discount . One replied back saying I could set up a payment plan of £10 a week! I replied back asking what happened to my discount offer as I would have paid this and be done with it. im happy to communicate with them using text as I have a record of the conversation and according to them it’s one way I can resolve the issue. I’ve tried to resolve it using texts but they ignore every reply but still send rude emails and leave voice messages saying that doing nothing will make matters worse! do I ignore it and if they take it further then say well i have proof I tried to resolve it when you offered me a discount but you didn’t respond back to me? any advice please and I won’t call them as I will feel very pressured and don’t need that kind of stress thankyou
