  1. With all due respect dx I dont believe that posters are patsys. I'm certainly not..you have seen every bit of paperwork I've ever received from CWD. To blame us for following advice is unreasonable and if you look back to my first ever post you will see that I was told dont worry you will never have to pay a penny! CWD are not uk **** debt collectors they know exactly what they are doing and they get away with it and the courts believe them as they masquerade as solicitors! I consulted with a solicitor and he didnt want to take them on as he had heard of them. Do not make me out to be a pasty because I and others went through hell for a year I got a charging order and the bankruptcy I'm not going to make up something like that! Just admit it with CWD you dont know what you're talking about and has i have said before new posters cant see what goes on because it's all hidden in legal issues . You are giving them a false sense of security which is so wrong. Your first advice cost me £2000!

  3. Andy they made me bankrupt after the charging order. You never know what their next move will be, they are absolutely disgraceful.
  4. Dx I paid the charge because I was made bankrupt and any extra money would go towards the bankruptcy.
  5. Maybe that may go in your favour if you use that in your objection. I do understand your frustration..I've been there. I do know a judge can set the payments but I dont know if that's another hearing.
  6. Everyone's situation is different I just wanted to make you aware that from what I've read about charging orders it's rare for the judge to go in your favour unless you are actually paying off the debt and if you lose it's more costs added. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me can help. I'm just going on my own experience,
  7. I think it was only their own costs they were interested in. I sold my property and paid the charge with some of the equity. I dont know why they treat people differently. I know someone else who was sent a statutory demand but never made them bankrupt. Bankruptcy doesn't cover secured debts. Dx is right my conveyancer told me I didnt have to pay off the restriction k but I didnt want it hanging over me.
  8. I objected to my charging order and lost. Added another £1200 to costs and once it was secured they made me bankrupt. The charging order was for their costs only. So bank got nothing.
  9. Is the charge for the whole debt or just their costs?
  10. I didn't insult you Andy just wondering where the help is ☺
  11. Who are they?? You the people who Si'd they could help with a defence! So where is it??? You Andy where are you then? ?
  12. They said they would give you a proper defence. Looks like they haven't got one concerned? Anyone?
  13. I would just like to know how they are getting away with this under UAE law in this country .
