Hi, I have a problem with gym membership cancellation for Fit4Lees i have cancelled the DD on 18th of June and send mails to both Fit4less and Harland. My monthly subscription was £24.99 in a no contract membership and DD scheduled first of each month. On 26th of June, Harland sent a mail that I need to give a month's notice and hence I have to pay one month's subscription in July. They have provided a link to pay the same. When I tried to pay using that link, the amount of payment was £44.99 i.e. £20 additnal fee was included. Hence on 27th of June, i replied them as follows ---------- Hi, Please confirm that my payment of £24.99 will be accepted by Harlands on behalf of Fit4Less in full settlement of all that I owe. I would prefer to pay by bank transfer or postal order. Hence please inform the the payee information so that I can make the final payment ------------ They have not replied to that mail, neither confirmed the amount nor sent any bank detail to issue a cheque/bank transfer/postal order. However today (on 2nd July), I again received a mail saying that I need to pay £24.99 and as the DD is not being collected on 1st July, so I have to pay £20 admin fee. Can you please suggest how the case can be handled? What reply should I sent.
