  1. UPDATE: I emailed the council, enclosed a copy of the front of my ticket and pointed out the ticket number was visible on THEIR photo and my ticket matched. Therefore no loss to them had occurred. Three weeks later they emailed back and said they would on this occasion cancel the ticket.
  2. Now thats a really good point, i have checked and the reference number is the same. i will use that as my proof and see what they say
  3. i know, annoying when youve paid though. to err is human and all that...
  4. I parked in a council owned car park and paid for 4 hours, when I returned I had a PCN on my windscreen. It was night, dark (poorly lit) and I wear glasses. I had no idea it was upside down. £50 charge reduced to £25 if i pay within 14 days. "83 Parked in a car park without clearly displaying a valid pay and display ticket or voucher or parking clock"
