  2. Hi all. I joined roko gym in June 2017, I only wanted to join solely to use the martial arts classes that they gave, I originally just wanted a rolling monthly membership as I'm in the military and could be deployed at any time. When I seen the sales agent I asked about the martial arts classes and how much extra they were per session as on their weekly class planner it stated I had to pay extra but not the amount, he told me it was £3 per session with a membership, I was then upsold from a monthly membership because I'd be saving £120 a year so stupidly I took it. when I went to the Krav Maga class I found out I'd have to pay £45 a month to go to their class aswell, I think I've been missold the membership in the first place. I continued to just use the gym for Krav Maga and never used any of their other facilities. Then as I stated to the gym when I joined that it could happen I got deployed at short notice I cancelled my DD mandate as I thought this would serve as notice to them because unfortunately never had time to write them as per the contract. Then the correspondence I received was an email about a month ago, stating they haven't been able to take my monthly subscription as the DD was cancelled. I emailed back stating my circumstances and that I would like to put in my notice for cancellation and I would be happy to pay the 3 months. I received no reply from the gym. The next thing I received is a letter from CRS saying I now owe £789. I mean I was in shock when I received it. Even my full membership except for the 2 months I paid was only £400 where they got this amount I'll never know, I also received a text saying I should contact them immediately to discuss the matter. I have not responded to CRS although I have re-emailed the gym about them just disregarding my email and selling my file to CRS when I was happy to pay the 3 months. I was then told he did receive the email although he said by then it had already gone to CRS when they had given me no time limit to pay it just states they need the minimum amount of £39.99 to be paid or it will be passed over. I received the email on the 27th July 2017 and replied on the 28th July 2017 so literally a day. I don't want to reply or do anything I shouldn't before getting some advice. I'm just worried about my credit score more than anything as I've been building it back up after being wreck less when I was young. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I thank you all in advance for reading and responding to my problem. Thanks
