  1. I recently purchased a Ford Mondeo Titanium x from a dealer near Bristol. The car was advertised as having a full service history. When I got home and checked all the booklets there was not a service history booklet. the following day I phoned the dealer who stated that they would find it. Two weeks later and numerous phone calls, lots of apologies and promises still no service book. Under the trade description act would I be entitled for some compensation due to the fact I bought it because of the reassurance of having FSH. I am happy with the car but not the miss selling.
  2. Unfortunately, because I am currenty recieving my NHS pension, which started aged 59 Im now 62, I can not rejoin or transfer my current pension pot into any NHS pension scheme. Therefore they have enrolled me in the goverment Nest pension scheme which they contribute 1%. I have asked the NHS pensions advisor whether it would be possible to re-enter or whether they would be willing to contribute more but they have declined both options. Just wondering whether I would have any regress or possibility to procede further.
  3. NHS Pension Problem I have recently been TUPEE'd back to the NHS, April 2016, and was informed that because I had previously been with NHS, 2007-2013 and had opted to recieve my NHS pension when I left, I was not entitled to rejoin the NHS Pension Schemme. Subsequently, I was enroled on the goverment NEST pension scheme, which means my employer, NHS only pays into the scheme the minimum 1% contrubution. I have asked if they would increase my contributions to bring them in line with my colleagues but they have declined stating they have no obligations to increase their contributions. Any feedback would be helpful as to whether I have recourse or not. Thanks

  5. During the recent renewed consultation the new employer has stated that they intend to move forward in implementing these changes "See above links" having strengthened there stance on the OTE reasons. It was during this conversation that they also stated that when they bid and during the due diligence process they did not receive our T/C from the old employer, therefore did not know our salary details. However having spoken to the HR dept from my old company they have informed me that this information was sent, also names and times. Do I have a right to challenge this as I feel the new employer is not being open in the negotiations and are using this as a reason as to why they are going forward.
  6. During my consultation I informed them that I would be following the grievance process, however they stated that this can't happen whilst things are still in the proposed stage. Is this right???
  7. I am not in a union although we are giving the opportunity to have a Union rep present during the consultation if we want. Not sure how supportive this person is, due to my previous experience. In the past I felt they were biased towards the company.
  8. I have over 8 yrs continuous service and there a 6 other employees, who range from 3 up to 10 years. The changes in role/job description were emailed to me 16th May prior to my consultation on Thurs 19th. I feel that I should ask for an extension and also ask them to provide written information regarding the changes proposed. I'm guessing they need to be either Economical, Organisational or Technical rather than just because of the transfer.
  9. I am in a similiar position having just recently been Tupe'd over, 1st April. Already my new employer has issued new job role/descriptions very different from my previous employer. They have also stated that they intend to harmomise use, which means for me a £6000 pay decrease, which they state will apply after a period of pay protection. In summary they are changing my role, decreasing my pay and increasing my hours from 35 to 37/5. Are they allowed to do this or can I refuse under the grievance process. Any information would be helpful
