  1. Yes there was about 8ft to the edge of the dyke which has now dissappeared
  2. Hi, Can someone help me out there to get to the bottom of my problem. When we first moved into the bugalow we had a small dyke adjacent to our property. Over the years it has slowly be giving way, so instead of us being able to stand and cut the conifers it is now just straight down. We have been in touch with the people who dredge the dyke 2 or 3 times a year and they have said if we pay £4000 and an annual maintenance fee they will do the neccasary work to fill the dyke and stop it slipping away. I asked if the land would then become ours and they said no it belongs to them. I have tried taking it to the ombudsman but because North Level drainage are not FSA registered he cannot help us. So I am asking anyone out there if they could give any information or even take the case on for me. Thanks P Weston
