  1. I sent it away twice to be fixed they were done on a return to base by courier, all they did was re stick the screen back down, and clean the laptop inside telling me to do this step is easy said than done as it requires the laptop stripping which if i damage voids my warranty Retailer is PC Specialist
  2. I gave the retailer the chance twice to rectify the problems seems they are temporary fixed and again the problem arises ive emailed the finance provider and see what they suggest probably just send me back to the retailer thanks both

Hi 10 months ago my partner bought me a gaming laptop ive had nothing but hassle with it since i bought it below is the issues ive faced with it 5 Weeks in Screen flicker Poor Performance Crashes 5 Months in Screen fell away from the laptop chassis when i checked it was held in with tape Poor performance again Crashes Game Crashes constantly 10 Months in Poor Gaming performance again Crashing Faulty Power Button works when it wants This laptop is financed Novuna Personal Finance previously Hitachi Personal Finance when we signed the agreement, Laptops warranty runs out in two months and dont have faith this will last another 12 months with the issues ive had with it up to now, ive owned Gaming PCs over the years and never had any issues with them know people who own gaming laptops and never had any problems with them but seems the quality of this is shocking there is no easy way to maintain it without stripping the whole thing down which if you break isnt covered in your warranty. Im guessing the best thing going forward is contact Novuna ? but guessing this wont be as easy as saying i dont want it as it aint fit for purpose

Hi Sorry not sure where else to post this, i was away on holiday on Thursday last week and received an email from Jump Xtreme regarding a visit at jump xtreme Tamworth, ive never been to Tamworth nor live near it, soon as i received the booking email i tried to contact them by phone but no answer so emailed them with the booking information i was sent, This was the email i received from them, any help on this would be appreciated thanks Thankyou for your polite email, but this is the 1st email we have received from you! I have no idea why someone has booked under your details When someone checks in, we ask them their name and email address, and this must have been given to us as we wouldnt just book some random person in without them giving us some information to enable us to do that The person who made the booking paid cash at our Tamworth site Afraid we cant help any further unless you would like to get a court order to obtain cctv of the person in question. Up to now 1 person has been sacked as they used the excuse he did it for his own personal gain The other resigned on the day of his conduct meeting Number 3 a personal friend of mine is due to have his conduct meeting tomorrow morning but is handing his notice tomorrow as he can't afford to be sacked because this would possibly make it hard for him to gain permanent employment incase they told the new employer the reasons why he left I don't know how they can use this as personal gain the sale was free to a customer and they pay 3 pound for it before tax the company puts pressure on its employees to sell on the job but it you look into my contract there is no mention of selling on the job so basically have they broke the terms of our employment as they are making us do extra duties which arnt in our contract I asked my manager 2 weeks ago for the sales policy as nobody has seen this document and it's not in my contract he said its in conduct policy and it's my core role and expectations The people above who have already had there conduct packs have received a sales policy dated October 2018 and nobody has seen this. This tells me my own manager didn't even know anything about it as he didn't provide me for it when I asked for it weeks ago now its in the conduct packs all made by himself I am still waiting on my conduct pack in the post reason I've not got mine yet is due to me being on annual leave and I return to work on 2nd September this will follow in the post weeks later I'm expecting Is it best I resign or do I have a chance here

Im in the communciation workers union We had half an hours training in front of a power point presentation so no training was not carried out properly im not a salesman im a telecoms engineer and they brought sales into the role recently but im sure it doesnt state in my contract that i am a salesman aswell as a telecoms engineer

Hi i work for well known leading company who provide paid television services, last week myself and 3 other people was pulled in to speak to management about a sale we made via our work ipad if you could class this as a sale as it was a free item to the customer who was part of the VIP package so they was entitled to this extra, somebody in my team questioned a colleague of mine asking how have you made that sale when the job is for tommorow then a manager has seen this comment and brought my collegue in for questioning telling him its gross misconduct to access a customers account without being on site with the customer even though the sale was a freebie and the customer has not phoned up to make a complaint. The manager told my collegue who ever else has done the same thing will also be out the door so the manager has found out myself and 3 others have done the freebie sale via the ipad without being onsite with the customers even though nobody has phoned up to complain. Myself has done this on two occasions Person A has done it 3 times Person B has done it 3 times Person C has done it 2 times We have all been told this is gross misconduct and legal hr has been involved in it, we went for our meetings with seperate managers in the area they asked why we did it, how many times we did it and what process must we take to ID a customer. We get told if we dont upsell to customers and hit our 10 percent target we will be put on plans and if we still dont perform will be put through the conduct policy which i feel is unfair, We are under so much pressure to upsell to customers and this is why we have commited the above offences to keep off performance plans but they are not interested and dont listen. i am stressed, fed up and worrying i will lose my job in the next two weeks, i am drinking more alcohol than normal and not sleeping very well lately and my moods are not the best. None of us has been suspended, they say its gross misconduct but i was told if its that bad surely we should of been suspended why they investigate im not happy about working why being investigated as it puts a downer on my day and makes me forget things or become irritated very easily. I've had someone knock on my door claiming they work for a company called resolver who can deal with damp issues in my home as my housing assoation hasn't rectified any of the issues they came into the property took photos of the damp took very basic details name, address, phone number national insurance number and had their office call me back within 15 minutes to take the details over the phone I get paranoid with this kind of thing They seem very certain a solicitor will be in touch to claim housing association has been out 3 times in 3 years cleaned the damp and used anti mould paint which hasn't even resolved the issue was told someone would come out and look at the roof and nothing damp has been bad this year Does this sound legit or something dodgy Thanks
  12. I have had a scan through my contract and it mentions about garden leave but im not that well educated on the term garden leave. I gave my notice early as i wanted it all out of the way and then i could just sit back until i left my current employment up to now he has not accepted the notice and told me to give 4 weeks but by the sounds of it i could just hand this to them on 3rd July and finish on 3rd August. After looking through my contract there was nothing about leaving the business on my own accord and about the amount of notice i have to give to the company. reason i am asking for advice because this company has bent more employment rules than any other business i have ever worked for not to mention the wage dropping dispute which i settled with them out of court and eventually got my money back dated off them and my new rates increased to what they should of been 12 months i worked under this dispute. could anybody clarify what garden leave is Thanks Also been working for this company since June 2013 Unfortuatnly cannot start my new employment early as i am going on holiday in July to Majorca and they require me to be in work for 3 months due to training and buddying in the field thats why my start date is August

Hi I start my new employment in august and have given my notice for the 3rd August as my finish day today i was asked to come into the office and as usual asking me to reconsider dont know why i would as the company gives me a constant head ache. They sat down and said to me that they are not willing to wait 10 weeks for me to leave the business and said i have to give a maximum of 4 weeks notice which should be done today and sent by tonight to state my end of employment should be 25th June 2018 I am not ready to leave in June and have 2 children i need to provide for a car to pay and rent to pay. Am i in my rights to give them ten weeks notice or are they right in what they say. By the sounds of it they havent accepted my notice for 10 weeks so they see me as continuing my employment until i settle another notice. If i give them 4 weeks notice am i in my rights to hand them this 1st July to finish 1st August Thanks
