I had a loan with Lloyds bank with PPI. As I fit most of the criteria to claim I did so direct to Lloyds using a pro forms from a money website. Lloyds said I had been correctly sold it and bounced my claim. I went to. PPI company and re submitted through them. Today I found Lloyds had settled direct into my account. I rang the PPI company and they knew nothing about it. But they then phoned me and asked for 40%. Is this normal? I thought the money would go to the company, they would deduct their fee and send me the rest. Lloyds stated they settled despite the PPI company intervening. Should I send a cheque to the PPI company????
