  1. Thanks for reply SabreSheep. The claim goes back to February 2013. Shoosmiths are trying for a CCJ, this is inorder to get an attachment to my home for £3000 overdraft on my old flexaccount which they closed a few years ago. I never saw an N1 claim form or court response pack until Shoosmiths sent it to me last week They favour the Northampton County Court Business Centre because if you don't return a defense the CCJ is automatically issued against you without any need for a Judge Nice and simple. The time I received a CCJ before from the same court Northampton County Court Business Centre the court sent me a N1 claim form or court response pack with 14 days to respond which I did, the case was transferred to my local court and I saw the Judge. The time before this the N1 was sent to my home and the defense had to be sent back to the court. However,, this time Shoosmiths want me to send the defense back to them NOT to the court. I feel that if I did that would be the last that I would see of it and that the CCJ would be automatically issued without any defense. The claim number is genuine and known by the court but the documents have taken over two years to reach me via Shoosmiths. I therefore phoned the court and was told that the claim had expired and would have to be put before a Judge in order to be reinstated.
  2. Thanks for rapid response citizenB. It's just that they have several ex nationwide staff at Northampton Shoosmiths and they, are just as incompetent as Nationwide and seem loathed to put any defence before a Judge, preferring to use Northampton County Court Business Centre to railroad things through with a Clerks Rubber Stamp rather than allowing people a hearing. Also Their staff don’t like taking ownership of their letters with a wet signature and sign Shoosmiths . This means to me that there is something wrong, like the claim response pack they recently sent me that was over two years old that had a court number but came from Shoosmiths directly to me, bypassing the court and requesting I sent my defence directly back to them. Not surprisingly when I phoned the court I was told that it had expired. How could they get a genuine court number for it without the court contacting me for a response and then nothing happening for over two years?
  3. Could anyone tell me please, are Nationwide and Shoosmiths one and the same like Nationwide and Kpr are because it wouldn't surprise me if they were Cheers
  4. You have my sympathy. I have similar problems with them. Been with them over thirty years and rather stupidly have many, different types of accounts with them. When things go wrong they are not interested and very aggressive and intimidating from the start. Not helpful and certainly not on your side. What really annoys me is that they hide behind being a Building Society and not abank. Everyone seems to fall for this including the regulators and the government who seem to think that the sun shines out of their ...because they have members and not shareholders. The only thing the Nationwide are interested in is themselves and to hell with its members. ...reality they are worse than criminals. You expect this sort of treatment and tactics of intimidation from criminals not from so called respectable banks and building societies banks in all but name. I wish you all the best for the future and hope it helps to realise that you are not the only one against the monster as there are lots of us ones in the same or similar boat. Never think that you are on your own in this life. You're Not.
  5. Hi Caro, Thanks for link. Sadder and Sadder all the time.
  6. Even so, I bet most constituents don't bother voting even in safe seats. If they did start voting and were a part of the plan, then there would be no safe seats at all. However, it would need organisation and commitment from all the non voting electorate to vote and to vote the way required. If this happened we the electorate could put any party we wished into power and really take charge of our country instead of it being left to these Morons.
  7. The biggest problem is that the voters are too isolated. They need some sort of organisation in order to be able to pull together and get rid of the rubbish we find ourselves stuck with. If only we could come together with a plan to target and kick certain MP's out, then they would have to change the way they operate, irrelevant of their party, in favour of the people and not themselves. We need a new party that has a chance of getting in and getting us our country back from Europe.
  8. Thanks duckwaddler & osdset. I hadn't seen it. I have now. Authorities turning blind eye don't care at all. I suggest we teach the b*****ds a lesson and kick them all out at the next election. What we need is new blood. Remember MP's expenses. If everyone who voted conservative and liberal democrat last time voted labour and everyone who voted labour voted conservative and all those who didn't vote stayed in bed and continued not giving a dam, then in theory every MP in the government at the moment would be out and we would have completely new parliament, full of new blood. Of course though, we could all vote UKIP. that would teach the b*****ds . I must say, I was amused to see the Tower of London in the background, that is exactly where they deserve to be imprisoned, awaiting the axe. The real problem is that MP’s think they have a career, and the voters can go to hell and back again. They forget that we put them where they are and pay them. They also tend to forget that the government has no money and neither does local government. The only money they have is ours. which they are extremely loathed to give back to us when we need it. Going back on their word planning cut backs in pensions etc. etc. Don't let them get their feet under the table, it's a mistake. Keep voting them out instead of in, it sharpens their mind's and makes them think of us for a change.
  9. Yeah! Disgusting isn't it. Hopefully they will get their comeuppance one day.
  10. The bank's and building society's are worse than criminals and building society's are the worst. We expect this sort of thing from criminals, scmmers and other low life, but not from the bank's and building society's. To make it worse building society' hide behind NOT being like bank's and having members who they can rip off with low interest rates and high interest rates depending on direction of travel, plus anything else they feel that they can get away with. When you have problems they don't want to know. You automatically become an "I won't pay " NOT an “I can’tpay”. Remember criminals have rights, building society members and bank customers don’t.
  11. If they did it they should be inside, awaiting a noose. These are peoples homes not houses.
  12. HI, I'd never seen them before but one of them looked a bit of a banker, so I suppose he may or may not have known what he was on about?
