  1. Hiya, thanks for the reply again. My solicitor has not been great with the whole situation to be honest. I can hardly ever get hold of her and she never calls me back. She told me the sale cant go through until the charges are lifted and I doubt Creation will lift the charge for that to happen This is stressing me out so much! Creation are meant to be calling by 12pm today, but I bet they dont!
  2. Ok thank you, I do not have any references or anything though, can I just put the property address? Is there any way of hurrying them up so I don't lose my buyer and incur fees from the solicitor etc.
  3. Hi thanks for the reply. I have never made a payment as they secured it on the house, they told me it would just be repaid when we sold. The CCJ is 6 years old on 20/1/2016
  4. Hi, thanks in advance for looking at my post. Basically, in 2006 I took out a buy now pay later deal through land of leather with creation. land of leather told me i would be contacted when i needed to start making payments but never did. after taking out this deal i went through a rough patch after having a prem baby and becoming a single parent in the space of a few months with no job and was extremely depressed and i forgot about the sofa payments. the next i heard i had court papers, i contacted creation to ask if i could start making the payments asap and they told me i had to pay the full amount plus the interest i would have been charged or they would register the ccj. i couldnt afford to do it and the ccj was registed and a charge was put on my house. anyway, the house is being sold, its meant to exchange next week. my solicitor has contacted creation for a balance and it is 5139.19!! the sofa originally cost 1495 and i took a 2 year warranty 240. on my credit file under creation it states 3639 and they have logged every month since 2006 sustained arrears. i contacted creation to ask why the balance is so high, they told me it was now with drydens. i called drydens, they told me the 5139.19 is the balance creation had sent to them and they had never added any fees and didnt have a breakdown. i recontacted creation and i was given the balance of 3638.55 and they told me any other fees must be drydens adding them. i am so confused and neither company is offering to help me or give me the information i need. i am about to lose my buyer. please help me
  5. Hi all, i was just looking for a bit of advice. We bought a corner suite from harveys about 9 months ago, we went for this particular one coz the woman selling it told us it was special cushion fillings that would always reshape after sitting down as we expressed our concern to her about non sprung seat cushions. After a lot of pushing, we decided to go for it, and she pushed the insurance so much saying "we could call them out everyday if we wanted to for anything". Anyway, first problem, my daughter was poorly and had a little accident on the sofa. I called the insurance company and told them what had happened, they told me not to clean it with anything but water and they would post me a form to complete and then arrange for someone to come out. I requested that it be emailed as post would take a while and i couldnt just leave urine on the sofa, so the guy on the end of the phone said he's spk to his "team leader" and see if he couild email and i email back. He came back and advised this would be fine and emailed me the form. So...I complete the form and go to send it back but notice there is not and email address, and the sender's email address didnt accept emails, so i phone up. I get asked where the "stain" is and told them its not a stain its urine and then get told they wont do anything as there is no stain!! When the woman sold me the insurance she assured me it covered everything inc all bodily fluids! So in the end i disinfect the cushion as best I can and wash the cover in the washing machine. Not happy! (This was about 4 weeks after delivery) Anyway, we'd noticed then that the cushions were starting to sink a bit, and even tho we'd been told this special filling would reshape and didnt need plumping, we still plumped daily and they were still starting to sink. After a couple of months, the seats had just lost their shape completely and I phoned up about it as even after plumping, they would lose shape as soon as someone sat on it. I was advised someone would come take a look. A week or so later the guy comes out and advised they needed more "filling" and he would arrange. He came out one the parts had arrived and changed all the cushions (not the covers). 4 weeks later, and they've done it again, I call up and someone comes out to look. I get a letter a couple of days later advising, its normal wear and tear and they will not do anything. Im looking for some advice, as the 1st time they advised there was a problem and replaced, and now they are saying its normal wear and tear, even tho i was told the cushions would reshape etc. we saved for a long time to get this sofa, and now im gutted as its so uncomfortable to sit on and just feel ripped off and that i was lied to to get the sale, is there anything i can do? thanks in advance kirsty
  6. Utility Warehouse! I've been having problems with utility warehouse. I recently signed up with them as a distributor after a collegue recommended them. Paid my £100 to go on the training etc. Training was great, all it's so easy you just read this booklet out and you get all these benefits and commission in return. I was so hyped and ready to go, I went straight to my mums and signed her up, after quoting on the online system it showed she'd be alot better off for gas, elec, phone and broadband. I then went home and signed myself up too, same again for me. So it was all going through lovely for my mum. I received a call saying as we were a sky customer we'd have to pay £30 for a new line installation, even though the current 1 is BT, I said I was not happy about this so they said they could change my number and I wouldn't have to pay the new line fee but o wouldn't have broadband for around 10 days, to cover this they would send me a dongle to use free of charge. It turned out to be nearly double the 10 days with no broadband, and I never received the dongle. I called about it and they apologised and told me there was no point sending the dongle now but they would credit £12 to my account for the trouble. Meanwhile, my mum received a letter stating that it would actually be more to transfer the gas and electric but she thought she'd save on her broadband and phone so it would be ok, I then received the same letter and thought the same however this was worrying as the online quote said it would be cheaper. My broadband went live and we've had nothing but problems, it cuts out all the time, and if you have a problem after 5 you can't do anything about it as they are closed. My mum experienced the same crap service with her broadband but we also kept receiving faxes on our new number cox it was an ex fax number. When I called about it they said I could pay 1.25 a month for choose to refuse and I could block the number or I could pay £15 and change my number. I was not impressed and complained and they finally agreed to change my number for free. Anyway, me and my mum agreed utility warehouse are rubbish and as we were not tied into a contract we would change again. We chose talk talk. Today I have received a letter from UW stating I have to pay an administration fee of £48.95 PLUS VAT to end the service. I googles this, and on the which website, it says back in 2010 that they were dropping this fee, so how can they charge me this? I've read other posts and they state a £10 cancellation fee was payable, and it also says this on their website, so how and why are they charging me £48.95 plus vat? Is there anything I can do? I also want to get my £100 back that I paid for the training is there any way I can do this? I am not selling this crap to anyone and I don't understand how they are top in which? Please help!

  8. I tried making an appt with the council this morning who advised I need to make a complaint in writing then IF they think there is a cause for a meeting they will arrange it. They also advised I need to make a complaint to R&R, I dont know what to say or write without getting more crap from them
  9. So do you think they'd bother, I worry, as I'm am one of these unlucky people and they would turn up and take my stuff when i wasnt here just out of spite!i suppose they could take the 2 seater, there are 3 of us here, so deffinately couldnt take the 3 seater, am i right? there defiantely isnt any fire retardant labels! it may sound sad and pathetic, but im so scared of them, there was 2 huge blokes with the van and this horrible woman and i dont wanna go through the stress of it again, im already on anti depressents coz of this
  10. probably £500 max, i bought the sofas second hand for £70 quid and its the only seating we have, we have a 3 year old and the telly pretty much belongs to her, we dont get a look in lol! all the stuff listed, i havent bought new, its been second hand or given to me, the only luxury we have is the wii and that was also 2nd hand. so, what do you think is the best course of action? i know we have to pay the debt, but £100 quid a month is ridiculous, is there any template letters i can send to the council, and will it actually get to a member of the council or these capita ppl? do i need to write to R&R saying im not paying them anymore, i really dont want them to take the little things we do have if i do stop paying them
  11. Tv Tv stand Woo exercise board Stereo Speakers DVD player Surround sound Wii nunchucks Wii Storage uprights + glass 3 seated sofa 2 sestet sofa This is doubled on 2 pieces of paper, apparently there is 2 claims. Ones is for 1352 plus bailiff fees 140 and the other is 604 plus bailiff fees 141 we had to pay 250 there and then so they wouldn't take the stuff
  12. I have just checked this site, apparently im entitled to a lot more than they are giving me!! but can i use this as a cross reference to show they are not paying me enough?
  13. They have listed all my living room items, sofas, tv, wii, dvd player, stereo etc etc, so my living room would be emptied if they came and took the stuff. the order was for £3000, we have paid £100 since jan 2011
  14. I would do this, but, when they left, they said now that they have been in our house, if we dont make a payment even if its only a day late, they have the right to break into our house and take the stuff they've listed
