I know this thread is quite old but I have had a similar letter. I can re-assure anyone who has had a letter that these people seem quite genuine. They did confirm many details about me and I am now waiting for contact from a company (who have been taken over recently), who I worked for almost 30 years ago regarding a pension. I will update this when they have made contact with me to further confirm my feelings that faraday are indeed genuine.
