  1. no I paid for it on a credit card and I have tried the Credit card company. It is sitting in my porch as I havent the heart to just dump it.
  2. I bought an all singing and dancing tv from comets, had it 20 months and it now isnt working. Have been back to Toshiba many times and they are not interested. The receivers for comets have said it would be down to Toshiba. I think I asm right in saying the consumer credit act says it has to be fit for purpose at 20 months I dont think it is
  3. Thanks for you reply I will wait to see what Lloyds TSB come up with, if they have no knowledge I will have to take Global to task. Probably best to go via solicitor then
  4. I have been paying 2 debts to Global debt recovery for years and then the penny dropped, I dont think this is my debt. after reading on here about getting proof, I sent them a £1.00 postal order to get proof of the debt. On return of post I had a letter to say they were closing down one of them. I then sent another postal order and had a letter back to say they were closing this account. In the meantime I have sent £10.00 postal order to the bank concerned Lloyds TSB last week to get proof of the debts from them have not heard yet. How do I get all the money back if its not my debt? Also how can I take Global to task for harrasment as they are worse than the droppings from my dogs especially one man there. When I spoke to him he said the reason they dropped the first one was because it was only £799.00 but I was in debt for £18k!! on the other one, its funny how they dropped it though when I asked for proof.
