My previous manager placed my on health care leave and told me to take as long as I need to recover as my health is more important. But a new manager has taken over and has given me a deadline to return by the end of February even though I have now just been told I have lupus and am very symptomatic as I was originally being treated as having heart condition. I do want to return to work eventually but I have not even began my treatment to help control my lupus symptoms. Can he force me to return to work, I am no longer being paid and have even agreed to return doing 11 hours a week were as before I was full-time

i do have Provident loans at the moment which i was paying at a reduced rate of £20 instead of £35 per week as my husband was put a 4 day week, but recently my husband and i have seperated and i am now a single parent and my agent is now harassing me. I can no longer afford these repayments i have phoned the head office and they were not to helpful but as my seperation was only recent my benefits are still being processed i am still unsure of what payment i can offer. Would i be better just to default on payments and allow a DCA to take over the account and hope i can offer them a minimal amount. The worry of all this is making me ill
