I want to get hold of ALL my bank statements whether they are held electronically or as I'm led to believe on microfilm/microfiche after a 6 year period. Thus I want everything since I opened the acccounts, or for them to tell me whether the data has been deleted. Can anyone give me an SAR template to cover all this so that they cannot fob me off. i already talked with Smile who said they didn't keep anything past 6 years due to FSA rules & that cooperative bank would do the same. They also said if I put in an SAR they would only give me copies of 6 years statements. can this be true? I don't believe this? I want to get all data for Smile Bank, Cooperative Bank, Halifax, & Abbey (now santandar). Any Idea what the correct addresses are to send the SARs. & who to make the postal orders out to? I know this is a lot to ask, but any help would be much appreciated....

can anyone just give me a straight forward SAR letter without all this stuff about Creditors & so on. I'm just after an SAR to get all old bank statements from many years ago. ie since i've had the account over 6years by far that's it thanks
