  1. I'm not, brother in law is. No cca request yet, this will happen this week. CSL client is HSBC Debt is credit card £3200 Thanks.
  2. Scenario: Credit Card debt now with CLS, dating back to 2010, arrangement in place for £1 per month since then. Still paying. Nothing on credit record. CLS asking for lump sum to clear account and mark as partially cleared. This fell off credit record last year. Can it be reinstated and marked partially cleared? Any comments or advice please? Thanks.
  3. This has now moved on a little. My brother has been refused a mortgage because, the property has not been registered in the name of a living person for at least 6 months. Has anyone else come across this?
  4. Thank you Marmaris30. It is the oddness that has set the alarms bells ringing and bought me here. I was hoping to confirm that this is odd and not some major change to house purchase that I have missed. I can find no other scenario like this via google. I think I will investigate how my brother is articulating his requirements. Thank you again for letting me bounce off you. Lenn
  5. I have Probate. Lender will not process loan because property is not in his name. It is in our late mothers name. I am the executor. Lenn
  6. This is not an option. Thank you for your reply Lenn
  7. I am reluctant because I would be transferring the title deeds to him without receiving payment representing my 50%
  8. Thank you for your replies. To confirm I have probate. The lender third on my list is insisting the property is in his sole name before they will consider any lending. I understand absolutley the title deeds will be in his name upon completion. As executor with probate I am authorised to sell the property currently in my mothers sole name. I cannot grasp why I should transfer it to me or him before any sale takes place. Of course upon completion I would expect this. Thank you for your time. Lenn
  9. Hi I hope this is the right forum for this. I am the sole executor for my late mothers will. The benefactors are me and my brother who resides in the property. There is one small debtor. The will is clear. The estate is to be divided 50/50 after debts etc. My brother has a poor credit history. My brother has applied for a mortgage to buy my half of the estate. We have agreed on a sum. One lender refused his application because of his poor credit. Another lender would only lend him the money if the title deeds were in my (the executor's) sole name. The third lender would only lend him the money of the title deeds were in his sole name. I am reluctant to transfer the title deeds either way as I see it as an administrative exercise and an unnecessary expense and neither of us are protected. Has anyone any experience in this type of problem before? Thanks Regards Lenn
  10. if it all seems to good to be true then in my experience it is. Don't touch it with a barge pole.
  11. Thank you. OP you do what you want, if you think your choice of email address is professional, then you go for it.
  12. Why do you need to advertise your sexual preferences in your email address?
  13. No Court officer will offer advice on how you should proceed. At this late stage I would be attending. I would have involved my solicitor earlier and taken his/her advice. I think you have to go.
  14. It would appear that the OP has been a customer of Heath Lambert for in excess of 10 years during which time no claim has been made. A burst pipe in the bathroom flooded the bathroom and damaged the kitchen ceiling. I believe the OP called to report it and was on hold and incurred a £45 telephone bill. This represents the first complaint. It would appear that Heath Lambert were to send operatives out on a Wednesday (OP did not state which Wednesday) It looks like nobody called and Heath Lambert had no record of claim when OP telephoned again on Friday. OP telephoned and asked to make a complaint and to speak to the chairman. OP was puzzled speaking to the chairman was not an option. The OP claims to have been passed around 4 people without resolving the issue. OP claims to have been advised to contact Financial Ombudsman to make complaint. OP appears to have finally spoken to acting team manager to whom the complaint was repeated. Despite this the OP is still waiting for a response.
