  1. Thanks Guys. Went to FOS they have been in touch with me, who in turn have been in touch with Lloyds insurance. Today got a letter from Lloyds insurance, who say they are now looking at this again. Will keep you updated..
  2. Hi Guys Am a newbie here so am hoping this is in the right place and I need some help. In 2006 I took out a loan with Lloyds tsb for £10,800 over 7 years I also had insurance on this. A couple of months after taking this out I suffered a brain tumour which left me paralysed down my left hand side. The loan was paid for by the insurance under Accident or Sickness cover. This year I became 65 and the accident or sickness cover stopped and was told to go onto the critical illness cover. I spoke to one of the customer service people who said there wouldn't be a problem as I had been left with stroke like affects, but they would write to my Doctor to get the information on my illness. The insurance came back to me and said they couldn't accept my claim under the critical illness section of the policy. Basically it says the tumor I suffered must have been cancerous, in my case it wasn't as it was a begnin tumour. Me being left with stroke like effects does not mean I have had a stroke, for me to claim this.. I now have to find the £320.96 a month to pay this loan as they are no longer able to help. Have been in touch with Lloyds tsb who have been no help, they say as I am in debt with this go to CCCS.. I am not in debt with any other bills etc as I am able to pay them via my benefits I get as am no longer able to work, it is just this loan that I can't repay.. Has anyone any idea how I should go about this??, or as to what I can do??.. All help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Di
