  1. ah sorry it had been on a dmp with a debt charity since 2014 contributing small payements
  2. I cant find the letter from Clydesdale at the minute but they had sent out a letter with a letter from Cabot inside saying that they will now be taking over the loan agreement and that any future payments i make should be sent to cabot. I think the last payment sent to the account was a token payment about last June/July
  3. Hi I took out a loan with Clydesdale bank loan a couple of years ago and had difficulty in keeping up payments. Looking at my Credit report they have marked the account satisfied/settled and transferred the account balance to Cabot. Cabot is now showing up on my credit report with the balance and they are now demanding payment sending letters about agreements and possible court action as I have not acknowledged or responded their letters to get in touch. can they do this even though I have never had or signed an agreement with Cabot. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated Thanks moneymaker™
  4. Hi in 2008 I took a loan of £2000 from Real personal finance which is owned by Provident Personal Credit and shortly after taking the loan i fell into difficulty with keeping my monthly payments. I did the stupid thing back then and ignored the requests for payments instead of calling them to sort out something but I eventually did nearer the end of term of the agreement. I agreed to pay them £15 per week to reduce the balance until further notice and if i could send more at any time i would they agree to this so I have been paying this arrangement for maybe over 2 years now. I was looking at my CR and its on there showing all the missed payments etc.. but what i wanted to know is that if they accept an arangement and i am keeping up with this on a weekly basis can they still report it as a 6 showing that its missed payments even tho I am sending in money? I have attached the screen copy of the entry to my CR to this post. screen copy isnt showing its proper size i dont know how to change it:(
  5. ok I have sent them a payment arrangement thanks for your information and help brig
  6. oh if it does will that mean it will stay on my credit file longer then? cos i defaulted in 2008 G.
  7. Hi I received a letter from from t-mobile regarding an old debt i had with them telling me that capquest investments ltd has been assigned the ballance and that capquest debt recovery ltd will be acting as there agent. I do owe the outstanding ballance but i wanted a payment arrangement with t-mobile at the time but they said i would have to let it go to a debt collection agency first and then make arrangements with them and t-mobile already had defaulted the account with the credit reference agencies. 2 years when by no contact about the outstanding ballance then i got the letter from t-mobile (trading as everything everywhere) saying the above. about 2 days later i get a letter from advantis credit debt collections centre saying they are collection for capquest debt recovery ltd saying they will now be collecting the debt lol i will make an arragement with them to pay the debt which is what i wanted originally with t-mobile. I dont understand though why it took so long in the first place and its weird how the debt just passes from company to company like that. and the default that t-mobile has put on my credit report has strangely been removed is that normal ? it must be a good thing? G.
  8. Thanks for your information since my conversation with the them i havent heard anything since or had any letters from them so far lol
  9. I got a letter from this company late last week with a reference number not dated just basically saying saying they have made some tracing enquiries as to my current address and i was to contact them immediately i ignored it as i thot it was some [problem] or joke. but this morning i received a letter from them again stating Letter before action saying that i owed this company called pipex uk just under £300 so i made a call to them this morning saying that i was never with a company called pipex the woman told me it was for a company bulldog. i told the woman that i had service with bulldog years ago but not at the address they are claiming it at and as far as i recall i had a clear balance with this company. she said i would need to prove this i asked her what period it was for and she said it didnt tell her that information she said she would pass the information on to her supervisor and they would get back to me. my problem is i only keep bills and statements for a 2 year period then i shred them as i dont think i need them after that but i still dont recall oweing this company money. i did find it weird tho im sure she said between the conversation that if i could pay something like £150 and that would close it. anyone got any advice ?
